BJP’s national president JP Nadda was in Ludhiana yesterday (May 14, 2022). During his visit, Nadda made every possible attempt to boost morale of the party workers who were feeling badly demoralized after crushing defeat of the party in the recently held assembly elections in Punjab. Interestingly, the party had given the slogan “nawa punjab bhajpa de naal” during the assembly elections. And, now a new slogan “mai bhajpa hoon” has been given by the party leadership. This new slogan symbolizes that every worker himself is the party. It’s a big thing. Really, a big thing. The new slogan is likely to put a great impact on the party workers at the grassroot level. This slogan is likely to boost the party across the state because every party men will understand that the whole party stands by him at every moment. The state is going to witness the parliament bypoll in Sangrur. Also, elections to municipal corporations are due next year. Now, the party workers are looking at the party’s senior leadership whether or not there is going to take a change in the organizational structure in Punjab. The recent visit of Nadda to Punjab is considered very significant as the party’s national general secretary BL Santhosh had carried out series of meetings with the party cadre for paving way for his visit. Nadda was accompanied among others by party’s national vice president Saudan Singh, national general secretary Dushyant Kumar Gautam, national secretary Narinder Singh Rana and others. The senior party leadership might have attained a detailed feedback during this Ludhiana visit. During his speech, Nadda spoke about the country’s all around development and specially focused his address on PM Narendra Modi’s social programmes that paved way to keep the Indian economy intact even during the days of Covid-19 and free ration to the needy families. Nadda’s point of view was that earlier India used to import commodities and now India is a leading country as far as export is concerned. India is witnessing radical change in infrastructural development during the Modi regime.
