Chandigarh, February 4, 2013: The Punjab government has appointed Justice Gurdev Singh as president of Punjab state consumer disputes redressal commission.
Disclosing this here today a spokesman of the Punjab government said that Justice Gurdev Singh has already assumed the charge of the chair.
This post was vacant after the retirement of Justice (retd.) SN Aggarwal. He further said that Justice Gurdev Singh remained as a judge of Punjab and Haryana High Court and retired on December 31, 2011.
