Bringing over 16 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Mohit Kanwal has been recently appointed as the Director of Operations at JW Marriott New Delhi Aerocity.
Responsible for the smooth functioning of the hotel, Mohit plays a key role overseeing the functions of the operational departments, in driving guest experience and ensuring that the standard of service across the hotel exceeds guest expectations. Mohit’s forte has always been his strong leadership skills, his ability to efficiently run a team and his penchant for mentoring new associates to ensure unparalleled service across verticals.
From developing key accounts, growing business verticals and ensuring that revenue targets are consistently met, Mohit has been a consistent all-rounder and has ensured that no matter what hotel chain he has worked with, the results have always exceeded expectations.

Mohit started his career with Taj Mahal Hotel as a Hotel Operations Management Trainee, after which he joined The Oberoi Mumbai as a Sales Executive in 2004. He was associated with Oberoi Group of Hotels for over 8 years after which he headed the sales operations at Westin Mumbai Garden City as Director of Sales. He has been associated with Hyatt Hotels for 5 years. He worked at the Hyatt Pune, Hyatt Regency Mumbai and Hyatt Regency Delhi before joining JW Marriott New Delhi Aerocity.
