Jyoti Gauba shares her experiences about gripping murder mystery `Pratiksha’ on Ullu App

Ullu releases gripping murder mystery Pratiksha on 26th October. Jyoti Gauba, plays Pratiksha's mother in the series. Here she shares her experiences with us on the show and shooting with her co-stars.
•    Tell us about your character in Ullu's Pratiksha that launches on 26th October?
•    I play Pratiksha’s mother. She is a loving, caring and concerned mother.
•    Why did you accept the series?
•    I accepted the series because I liked the concept. This is also the first time that I am working with Ullu. 
•    Tell us about working with your co-actors in this series?
•    Working with my co-actors in the series has been a very good experience. I have already worked with Avinash Wadhwan who plays Pratiksha's father opposite me in the series. We had done a Rajshri show together 4 years back. I was very comfortable with him. Talking about Arya Babbar and  Chestha Bhagat, they too arw wonderful people to work with. I really enjoyed working with them. I made a very nice friend in this series, Manini Dey Mishra. 
•    Tell us a bit about your journey across mediums as an actor?
•    I have been in the industry for over 25 years, I have done over 600 TV commercials, as the main model. I have been doing television since the past 12 years and I have done a couple of movies too. This is the first time that I am working for Ullu.  
•    Has the fear of working during a pandemic eased? 6. What precautions are taken during shoot?
•    Yes, the fear of working during the pandemic has definitely eased. This was my first assignment post the lockdown period. We were very scared at that time and we did not know whether we should really start working or wait, but we really did not know when the wait would end. The fear at that time was at its peak. Right now, it has eased to a great extent. The precautions that we were taking at that time during the shoot was that our rooms were being sanitised atleast 3 times a day, all of us were asked to wear a mask at all times, whenever we reached the sets our temperatures were checked. We were only allowed to take off our masks during our shots. 
•    What precautions are taken during the shoot?
•    Right now, while we are still taking precautions, it has eased to a great extent as most of us are vaccinated. The scare and the fear has ebbed to a certain extent. 
•    Can you share some of your future projects?
•    My future projects if you talk about them are I just shot for an advertisement with Boman Irani. I had also shot an advertisement with Pankaj Tripathi. I keep doing advertisements. Currently I have this show called Imlie where I am playing the only negative character in the show. I had done Kota Factory Season 1 and 2 which was a hit.   
•    How are you celebrating Diwali this year?
•    I am going to be celebrating Diwali at home with my family. I am going to light diyas, do Lakshmi Puja, wear new clothes. We will not be bursting crackers. We will sit together as a family, do puja and aarti together as a family and spend good time with the family.
