‘Kala Kaushal Utsav’ held at Dev Samaj College of Education
Students display Eco-friendly products at ‘Kala Kaushal Utsav’

Chandigarh, October 20, 2022: The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC Cell) of Dev Samaj College of Education, Chandigarh organized a unique event ‘Kala Kaushal Utsav’ at its premises, Sector 36-B here.
The event was inaugurated by Nirmal Singh Dhillon, Secretary, Dev Samaj and Chairman, Dev Samaj College of Education. The utsav was graced by Dr Nemi Chand, State Liaison Officer, Chandigarh Administration, Chandigarh and Prof. & Chairperson Dr. Kirandeep Singh, Department of Education, Panjab University, Chandigarh.
As many as 35 stalls of organic food items, decorative items, eatables, photography and games were displayed in the event. The highlight of the event was live pottery, handmade candles and home décor made by the students.
Appreciating the skills and efforts of the students, Dr Agnese Dhillon, Principal of Dev Samaj College said, “The main objective of this “Kala Kaushal Utsav” was to provide students with a great platform to showcase their creativity and entrepreneurial skills.”
Students learnt pottery with full zeal at the live pottery station.
It’s noteworthy that ‘Kala Kaushal Utsav's’ theme was 'environmentally friendly Diwali'. Notably, eco-friendly products were used by the students to showcase their creativity.
The event received an overwhelming response. The utsav concluded with the spirit of festivity.
