Kalia expresses deep shock and grief over sad demise of Balramji Dass Tandon

Jalandhar, August 14, 2018: Manoranjan Kalia, Former State President B.J.P Punjab and Former Minister Punjab, expressed deep shock and grief over the sad demise of Balramji Dass Tandon, Governor Chhattisgarh. He was Statesman Politician who had successfully discharged many responsibilities within State and out of State as a three time Minister of Punjab Government, thrice Leader of the Legislative Group, Six times M.L.A., State President B.J.P Punjab and Governor Chhattisgarh. He was one of the founder members of Akhil Bharatiya Jan Sangh. When he retired from Active Politics in 2007, Tandon acted as guide Philosopher to the Punjab B.J.P and never lost any opportunity to criticize even own Government, the then Akali-BJP Government. Whenever he felt the interest of the Punjab stood infringed. He has left a void politically, socially, religiously which is very difficult to fill, said Kalia.
He said the sad demise of Balramji Dass Tandon is personal loss to me also as I had a opportunity to work with him as State General Secretary when Tandon was State President and as a Minister in 1997 to 2002. “May his soul rest in peace and God give courage to the bereaved family”, said Kalia.
