New Delhi, September 29, 2014: Kalraj Mishra, Union Minister for MSME inaugurated the India Pavilion at the IGA Royal Perth Show 2014. Speaking on the occasion the Minister said that it is a matter of great pleasure to be here at this Interactive Business Session organised by the India Trade Promotion Organisation, the High Commission of India (Perth) as a promotional activity on the sidelines of the India country level participation as Guest Country.

Extending heartiest welcome to all the Australian buyers the Minister said that your presence is a reciprocation of the closeness and affinity that the people of India feel for Australia’s dynamism, rich culture, and warm friendly citizens. He further added that India Australia are traditional partners with shared values. This partnership has entered into a new phase especially after signing of the civil nuclear cooperation agreement by Australian Prime Minister, Mr. Tony Abbott and Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, recently in New Delhi, which is a historic milestone in our relationship. It is a reflection of a new level of mutual trust and confidence and will open a new chapter in bilateral cooperation. It will support India efforts to fuel its growth with clean energy and minimise its carbon footprint.
