Kamna Pathak celebrates her birthday.

It is Birthday time with on-set celebrations for our Dabangg Dulahania, Rajesh aka Kamna Pathak from &TV’s Happu Ki Ultan Paltan! Birthdays are very important for Kamna, and she loves spending them with her family and friends. But since she is busy shooting in Surat, she will bring in her Birthday with the on-screen family this year.

Says Kamna, aka Rajesh, “While the celebrations are different every year, one thing that stays constant is the tradition to pray to almighty, perform Rudraabhishek and eat traditional kheer. The day starts with showing gratitude for giving us this wonderful life and all our successes by performing Rudrabhishek. And my mom makes kheer for me; these are like the family birthday traditions without which the day does not feel complete. Besides this, I also have a particular ritual with my BFF Komal who bakes a cake on my every Birthday. A lot of emotions are involved in all the efforts my family and friends take to make this day extra special for me.”

Sharing her best birthday memories, Kamna elaborates, “Since childhood, my Birthday would always be during the summer vacations, so my entire family and relatives would gather at my grandmother’s house to celebrate. It would be more like a family reunion. But the most special memory will always be with my grandfather, who always handed over a hundred rupee note with the warmest hug and a broad smile. And every year, I would eagerly wait for Dadaji to come and wish me in his style. I have preserved the notes and cherished them as a memory. Last year we lost him forever, but the memories will always be in my heart for life. I might celebrate my Birthday with cakes and gifts, but the little Kamna will always be waiting for that hundred rupee note and Dadaji ki pyaar bhari jhappi.”
