Kangra gets oxygen concentrator, oximeters and essential medicines from UK and Kuwait: DC

Dharamsala: In order to deal with Covid in Kangra district, the first consignment of Oxygen concentrator and Oxygen Cylinders has been transported through the United Kingdom and Kuwait through the Government as well as enough  Oximeters, Medicines, Sanitizers, Masks and PPE Kits have also been received . Giving this information, Deputy Commissioner Rakesh Prajapati said that the distribution of the said material will be ensured in various areas of the district from Wednesday so that Covid patients will not face any problem.

Deputy Commissioner Rakesh Prajapati said, “ with the efforts of the Himachal government, 50 Oxygen  concentrator and 50 oxygen cylinders from the United Kingdom have been received by the district administration at Dharamshala on Tuesday. Similarly, Oxygen  concentrator and oxygen cylinders are going to be provided to the district in regular and quantity, along with necessary medicines, 1500 oximeters, sanitizers, PPE kits will also be delivered by the district administration to various health centres and patients.”

Deputy Commissioner Rakesh Prajapati said that the district administration is fully prepared to deal with Covid and complete care is being ensured for Covid infected. Deputy Commissioner Rakesh Prajapati said that orders have also been given to the doctors and administrative officials at the zonal hospital, Tanda and Paprola Ayurvedic Hospital to provide better services to the covid patients. He said that health department officials have also been instructed to provide necessary medicines to the Covid infected in home isolation and to get information about their health on a regular basis so that people do not have any kind of  fear about Covid .

He said that a control room has also been set up at district level and sub-division levels to deal with covid to ensure smooth monitoring.
