Mumbai, December 18, 2021: Awards and recognition is what any artist dreams of. At the recently held Universal India Awards in Mumbai, Host and Actor Karan Singh Chhabra was honored with the award of "Best Host of the Year" for his work as an anchor on stage and on television. The award was presented by reality show star and latest Big Boss winner Divya Agarwal and Lead actress of running hit TV show (Choti Sardarni) Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia.
On being asked about the achievement he said "Any form of encouragement means a lot to any artist and this surely made my entire effort of this year worth it."
In a career spanning more than 7 years, Chhabra is a known name in the anchoring space. On screen he has interviewed eminent personalities of Bollywood and Politics from Shah Rukh Khan, Akshay Kumar, Priyanka Chopra, Sridevi etc to the Chief Ministers of some Indian states and leading political leaders, while on stage he has hosted several award shows and Beauty Pageants like Miss India Earth , Miss India Intercontinental, India Fashion Awards, The Fashion Connect, Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival Awards etc.
Apart from hosting, Chhabra will soon be seen on the big screen in a negative role in the Hindi remake of a S.S.Rajamouli - Prabhas film that is currently being shot in Hyderabad.
