Prince and Yuvika celebrate their first Karva Chauth.

This is how our favorite newlyweds Prince Narula - Yuvika Chaudhary celebrated the festival

This Karwa Chauth, millennials are getting ready for the traditional fast with a healthy twist by including Quaker oats to the pre-dawn Sargi ritual.

Popular newlyweds- Prince Narula and Yuvika Chaudhary marked the celebration of their first Karwa Chauth by focusing on the importance of having a healthy meal. Prince added Quaker oats to Yuvika’s Sargi, the early morning meal ritual which traditionally marks the start of the day.

Prince posted a heart-warming picture of the simple Pheni he had lovingly prepared for his new bride's Sargi with a healthy fistful of Quaker to ensure sustained energy to get her through her first Karva Chauth fast.

Speaking on the occasion, Prince Narula said, “This is Yuvika’s first Karwa Chauth, and I am making it extra-special for her by adding Quaker oats to pheni. This tasty and nutritious sargi will keep her going through the day.”

The versatility of Quaker oats when added to pheni or any other preferred dish, enhances the nutritional quotient without changing the taste of the dish. Quaker also provides the goodness of wholegrain, with high protein, fibre and sustained energy benefits, ensuring satiety / making one feel fuller for a longer period.

Speaking about the benefits of adding Quaker, Nobel Dhingra, Brand Head- Quaker, said “It is heartening to see how young people are adapting their diet to include a healthy dose of nutrition, and Quaker offers the perfect, versatile grain that fits their need. As women prepare for their day long fast, what better way to start their day than to infuse a nutritious dose of oats which will not only enhance satiety but also provide a much-needed source of soluble fiber to help sustain through the day. Quaker wishes everyone a happy and healthy Karva Chauth.”
