Kasauli Week-2024 begins at iconic Kasauli Club

Kasauli/Chandigarh, June 13, 2024: The serene and quaint hill station  Kasauli has come alive  with  the much - awaited Kasauli Week 2024 starting  at the iconic  Kasauli Club.

Col Randhir Pathania, Secretary, Kasauli Club Ltd. said, "From a humble beginning way back in 1898,  today the Kasauli Club has become the most famous and sought after clubs in northern India. It sits on the upper mall  at a height of over 6000 feet providing it a vantage location with a beautiful view of the scenic Kasauli hills."

He further added, "Every year we hold a Kasauli Week Celebration to provide patrons and attendees with a sip of  Kasauli Club's tradition, history and legacy. The week is replete with community activities, sports, music and culture."

Meanwhile, the Kasauli Week kicked off with the flag unfurling which was accompanied by a performance by the Army band. Brig.  Kunal Bakshi , Chairman, Kasauli Club Ltd. participated in the flag hoisting ceremony.  The inaugural day also saw other activities like tambola; a fun-filled game session for all; sufi night; a soulful evening with the Sabri Brothers and a DJ Night which provided  a great chance to groove to the beats of DJ Nik.

A senior member of the club's Managing Committee  informed that the academic aspect of the Kasauli Week shall be filled in by a  seminar on current strategic issues on June 14.

It is to be noted that apart from the seminar, June 14 shall witness a  Do-It- Yourself (DIY) Art and Craft workshop where one can unleash his or her creativity with hands-on art and craft activities; Salsa and a  Bhangra and Zumba workshop among other activities. There will be a Member's Night in which  performances by Tanoura dancer; Mentalist Abhishek and  singer Miss Eunice will be major attractions.

June 15  will be action packed.  It shall witness ‘Feed the Soul’ meditation and healing workshop by Priya Soni and Shemoli Singh Dhindsa; Salsa; Bhangra and Zumba workshop; Ramp Walk competitions for Kasauli King, Queen, Prince, Princess, and Emperor titles and a performance by Rodrigues Band.

The Kasauli Week will end on June 16 with a tree plantation aimed at contributing to the environment; Chairman’s lunch and  Beating the Retreat with a majestic performance by the Pipe Band.

What's more, during all days sports  enthusiasts can participate and witness various sports activities every morning from 0630h to 0830h and every evening from 1600h to 1900h.

It is noteworthy that many top corporations have come together to make the Kasauli Week 2024 celebration  a hit.
