Kavita Katha Karvaan office inaugurated, literary event held

Ludhiana: Literary organization Kavita Katha Karvaan (Regd) (KKK) and its off shoot  'Katha Karvaan Publications(Regd)  established its new office at the local Guru Gyan Vihar, Dugri. 

A magnificent literary program was organized to mark the inauguration of the new office. The renowned poet Dr. Hari Singh 'Jachak' was the chief guest.  In his address, the Dr Jachak appreciated the achievements made by KKK since its inception only a few years ago. He spoke high of the efforts made by the organization in connecting people literarily in blended mode especially during the period of Covid-19 pandemic. He presented a poetic appreciation (Kaseeda) in honour of Dr. Jaspreet Kaur Falak, the KKK President. 

Also present on the occasion were renowned writers Amrit Pal Singh Gogia, Dr. Ravinder Singh Chandi, Rashmi Asthana, Shelly Wadhwa.  An Inauguration Cake was cut by the Chief Guest and other dignitaries. 

Dr. Jaspreet Kaur Falak,  in her thanksgiving remarks  said that the new office will assume diverse activities such as holding literary discussions and meetings and recording of YouTube channel of KKK.  The 'Katha Karvaan Publications will provide a forum to young writers by undertaking publication of books, publishing their compositions in its literary magazine. She added that the Publication House will promote creative writing amongst the budding writers besides providing service of editing, vetting of manuscripts and translation of literary and other works into different languages- English, Hindi, Punjabi and Urdu.  

The Senior Vice President of KKK Dr Jagtar Dhiman sent his video message from Canada, on this occasion. He said that with the cooperation of all associated with the KKK, it has made tremendous progress creating a niche of credibility in literary and cultural circles. He congratulated Dr Falak and her team for the steady progress of KKK.

The inauguration Session was followed by a Kavi Darbar wherein the participating senior poets and the budding creative writers Bhanu, Ritu Mahajan, Alka Sharma, Neeraj Sharma, Anmol, Manu Sanyal, Ajmer Singh recited poems and   songs.

Dr. Rajender Singh Sahil  managed the stage in his typical poetic style. The Video Editor and the Creative Photo Artist Master Gurpreet Singh thanked everyone for their presence in the function.
