Ludhiana: Kavita Katha Karvaan (KKK) organised Sawan Kavi Darbar. Veteran poet Sardar Panchhi was the Chief Guest of this programme. He shared through reciting his Urdu and Punjabi couplets, poems and songs on various colors of Sawan.
On this occasion, the KKK President Dr Jaspreet Kaur Falak, formally welcomed the poets and other participants in her poetic style.
The programme started with the recital of Saraswati Vandana by Saroj Verma in her melodic way. The poets who painted different pictures of the season of Sawan included Dr Jagtar Dhiman, Dr Rajinder Singh Sahil, Danish Bharti, Dr Ravinder Singh Chandi, Amritpal Gogia, Hardeep Birdi, Rashmi Ashthana, Gurcharan Narang, Navpreet Harry and others.
Danish Bharti and Gurcharan Narang conducted the stage in an impressive manner.
KKK Secretary Rashmi Ashthana proposed vote of thanks.
Master Gurpreet captured the glimpses of the event.
The traditional poorhas and kheer were served to all to mark the onset of Sawan.
