Today, under pan-Punjab CASO op, Khanna Police led by SSP Dr Jyoti Yadav Bains conducted early morning searches at 7 locations across all 3 subdivisions—Samrala, Payal, and Khanna. A total of 144 personnel, led by SHOs and supervised by 5 DSPs, were deployed, according to an official information.

Ludhiana, March 29, 2025: Today, under pan-Punjab CASO op, Khanna Police led by SSP Dr Jyoti Yadav Bains conducted early morning searches at 7 locations across all 3 subdivisions—Samrala, Payal, and Khanna. A total of 144 personnel, led by SHOs and supervised by 5 DSPs, were deployed, according to an official information.
Arrests and FIRs:
• Total of 18 arrests and 7 FIRs registered.
• 10 arrests and 5 FIRs under NDPS Act.
• 2 arrests in a previously registered attempt to murder case, 1 arrest in a theft case, 1 arrest in a snatching case, 1 arrest in a Gambling case.
• 3 persons were arrested from outside civil hospital selling tablets.
Recoveries:
• 8 gm heroin and 60 gm intoxicant powder
• ₹3,000 drug money
• 100 lomotil tablets
• 1 stolen scooter
• 24 bottles of whiskey
• ₹1,000 gambling money
• 42 kg 810 gm unaccounted silver
Additionally, 20 suspected individuals were rounded up for further verification. Investigations are ongoing.
