Khanna Police register case in connection with snatching from shopkeeper

Khanna, November 12, 2015: Khanna Police have registered a case under Section 382 of the IPC against unidentified persons into the alleged snatching of money on gun point from a shopkeeper of Khanna. 
As per SHO City Khanna Harjinder Singh  they have got some clues and are working hard to identify and to arrest alleged persons involved in the snatching of cash and a DVR. 
It is pertinent to mention that two persons had allegedly entered into a shop of crowded Guru Amar Dass Market and snatched about one lakh cash and a DVR from a money exchanger from Guru Amardass Market Khanna and escaped. 
As per Udit Puri, owner of the shop two youths entered his shop and enquired about the rate of American Dollar on Tuesday evening. After some enquiry the youths took out a gun and took him to DVR room and forcibly snatched about one lakh cash and a DVR and escaped. In fear he later informed the police and a police party led by SHO City Harjinder Singh reached on the spot and later at night registered a case under section 382 IPC at City Police Station. 
As per SHO they have got a CCTV footage from a nearby shop and are trying to identify the alleged persons through mobile dump data. He claimed that they have received some clues in this regard and are hopeful of cracking this case through CCTV footage and some other clues received from on the spot.
