Ludhiana, December 11, 2022: Stating that Khedan Watan Punjab Diyan has laid the foundation of strong and healthy Punjab, MLA Atam Nagar Kulwant Singh Sidhu on Sunday said that AAP government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann was committed to give positive direction to the energy of the youth by holding games annually.
He was addressing the youth during the 6th edition of cricket tournament organised in the memory of his brother Jabar Singh Sidhu by Dr Ambedkar Nagar Cricket Club, in Model Town area, here last evening.
He said the record participation of three lakh players in Khedan Watan Punjab Diyan showed that if given opportunity, Punjabi youth can do wonders in the sports. He said that annual holding of games would restore sports culture in Punjab.
Sidhu pointed out that healthy competition gives positive energy to youths and motivates them to move ahead. Later, he also distributed prizes among winners.
