Kitab Club organises teaching training camp in Uttarakhand

Delhi-based Kitab Club in collaboration with Uttarakhand Foundation organised a teaching training camp for children and local people at Inter College Kandakhal Langur, Pauri Garhwal from January 2 to January 10. The aim of this camp was to increase awareness towards education and encourage the habit of reading books.

Chandigarh, January 13, 2025: Delhi-based Kitab Club in collaboration with Uttarakhand Foundation organised a teaching training camp for children and local people at Inter College Kandakhal Langur, Pauri Garhwal from January 2 to January 10. The aim of this camp was to increase awareness towards education and encourage the habit of reading books.

Various teaching activities were organised during the camp, in which children and people of the area were given training related to teaching work. Along with this, an exhibition was also organised in which books were displayed and books were also distributed.

Principal of Inter College Somprakash Khandwal, Manager Jagat Ram Dabral and Manager Subhash Dabral played an important role in conducting the camp. While highlighting the objectives of the camp, he said that this programme will prove to be helpful in motivating children and shaping their future.

Several life skills activities and extracurricular activities were also organised during the eight days of the camp.  These included career counselling, discussion on good touch-bad touch, environmental awareness and other important topics.

On this occasion, active members of the book club Simran, Isha, Kanak, Ashish, Prince, and Saif also marked their presence and contributed in making the program successful.

The camp concluded with wishes for a bright future for the children and local people, in which everyone stressed on the need for regularity of such events.
