This prestigious recognition is a testament to the institution's unwavering commitment to excellence in physics education and research.
Anveshika is an Indian Association of Physics Teachers (IAPT) initiative to create centres across India where students and teachers can learn experiment-based physics and try out their own ideas. Anveshika centres are established at different places within the country under National Anveshika Network of India (NANI) initiative. The designation as an Anveshika Centre is a significant honour, as it acknowledges the institution's exceptional dedication to fostering scientific curiosity and nurturing future scientists.
Principal Prof. Dr. Atima Sharma Dwivedi expressed her delight at this achievement. She averred that we are immensely proud to be designated as the Anveshika centre, and this recognition reaffirms our commitment to providing high-quality science education. KMV has a long-standing tradition of nurturing talent and fostering innovation, and this designation will only further enhance our capabilities in the field of science. This centre at KMV will feature cutting-edge research facilities, and a team of highly qualified and experienced faculty members dedicated to nurturing the scientific talents of its students.
She further maintained that this milestone achievement is not only a matter of pride for KMV but also a significant step forward in promoting scientific education and research in Punjab. It reflects the institution's continuous pursuit of excellence in education and its commitment to empowering the next generation of scientists. KMV also organised a celebration to celebrate this momentous achievement in which students as well as faculty members from Department of Sciences participated.
Principal motivating the students averred that students in a hands-on science program will remember the material better, feel a sense of accomplishment when the task is completed, and be able to transfer that experience easier to other learning situations. Madam Principal lauded the efforts of PG Department of Physics for this achievement.
