KMV artists shine in Commissionerate of Police organised Drug Awareness Competition
Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) students from P.G. Department of Psychology, Zoology and Fine Arts participated in a “Drug Awareness Programme” organized by Commissionerate of Police, Jalandhar.

Jalandhar, February 19, 2025: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) students from P.G. Department of Psychology, Zoology and Fine Arts participated in a “Drug Awareness Programme” organized by Commissionerate of Police, Jalandhar.
As a part of the programme, a graffiti (Wall painting) competition was organized on the theme “Drug Abuse”. The team of students enthusiastically participated in the competition and composed a painting on the topic “Be high on love, not drugs”.
Various teams from different colleges participated in this competition. The team of KMV was awarded by the Commissionerate of Police, Jalandhar for its Outstanding Performance in the competition and were also given a cash prize of Rs. 5000.
Principal Prof (Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi congratulated the students and averred that these kind of completions play a pivotal role in spreading the awareness among the students about the drug problem. She further maintained that KMV from time to time keeps on organising such ki d of activities to motivate the students.
