KMV celebrates Fit India Week
Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) students enthusiastically participated in various activities during the Fit India Week. The Fit India Week at KMV was celebrated with full zeal and enthusiasm.
Jalandhar, December 25, 2024: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) students enthusiastically participated in various activities during the Fit India Week. The Fit India Week at KMV was celebrated with full zeal and enthusiasm.
During this week, students actively engaged in various activities, showcasing their mental and physical strength. A two-day self-defence workshop was organised, where students learned self-defence techniques. Students demonstrated their mental and physical prowess in sports like Tug of War and Kho-Kho. Fun games like rope jumping and blindfolded games were also organised. Additionally, students took an oath to maintain their physical well-being by using the open gym facilities on the college premises.
Principal Prof. Dr. Atima Sharma Dwivedi addressing on the occasion, emphasised upon the importance of physical fitness along with mental development. She also highlighted the significance of sports in achieving physical prowess and lauded the efforts of Dr. Davinder Singh, Head of the Physical Education Department for the successful event.
