KMV celebrates Independence Day by organising various patriotic events
In a grand celebration of India's Independence Day, Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) embraced the patriotic spirit with a remarkable event. Students took the center stage, showcasing their exceptional talents through various artistic expressions.
Jalandhar, August 13, 2024: In a grand celebration of India's Independence Day, Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) embraced the patriotic spirit with a remarkable event. The event was a resounding success, highlighting the unity and patriotism that binds the nation. Students took the center stage, showcasing their exceptional talents through various artistic expressions.
The event witnessed a splendid blend of modelling, face painting, dance performances, and heartfelt poetry, all echoing the love for the country and its rich heritage. The students' performances paid homage to the sacrifices while also emphasising the importance of preserving and nurturing the hard-fought independence. The students' portrayals not only showcased their artistic talents but also served as a powerful reminder of the indomitable courage and resilience displayed by freedom fighters, who continue to inspire and motivate generations to come. The choreography enacted by the NCC cadets of KMV portraying the tragic event of Pulwama attack made each and everyone emotional during the event. The face painting and modelling displays were a testament to the deep-rooted connection between the citizens and the land that they proudly call their own. The dance performances and poetry recitations captured the essence of the nation's journey towards progress and unity. Through each graceful movement and every eloquent word, the students conveyed their unwavering commitment to building a strong, inclusive, and prosperous India.
Wishing everyone a happy independence day, Principal Prof. Dr. Atima Sharma Dwivedi averred that KMV has always been committed to the cause of national freedom as it actively participated in the Indian freedom struggle. She further maintained that this celebration is dedicated to the freedom of our beloved motherland.
Prof. Dwivedi also cautioned everyone against short intensity wars in the form of evil intention of divisive forces and spread of drug addiction. She lauded the efforts of Dr Madhumeet, Dean, Department of Student Welfare, Dr Gurjot, Dean, ECA, Veena Deepak, Co-ordinator, KMV Collegiate Sr. Sec. School, Sufalica and Geetika for successfully organising the celebrations.
