KMV celebrates International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking with full zeal and enthusiasm
Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) celebrated International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking under the guidelines of Directorate of Social Security, Women and Child Development Department, Government of Punjab.
Jalandhar: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) celebrated International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking under the guidelines of Directorate of Social Security, Women and Child Development Department, Government of Punjab.
The celebrations were jointly organised by the Department of Student Welfare, Hostel and PG Department of Journalism and Mass Communication. In the two-day activities organised in this regard, the students participated enthusiastically and took an oath to spread awareness about the anarchy arising in the society due to consumption of drugs and illegal smuggling.
The students of the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication made a video depicting the harm being caused to the young generation by drugs and also shared it on social media platforms. Principal Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi averred that it is very important to make Punjab drug free so that the young generation can realise the picture of a prosperous Punjab by taking good education and moving forward with their hard work and dedication.
Principal lauded the efforts of Dr. Madhumeet, Dean, Department of Student Welfare, Hostel Staff and Department of Journalism and Mass Communication for successfully organising the celebrations.
