KMV celebrates national pi day with full zeal and enthusiasm
Jalandhar: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya- the Heritage & Autonomous institution, Seat of Women Empowerment with Top National and State Rankings by India Today Survey of Best Colleges 2020 (various categories) & Outlook Magazine celebrated National Pi Day. The celebrations were organised by PG Department of Mathematics. Along with the Pi Day, the 138th birth anniversary of Sh. Bharti Krishna Tirath, the founder of Vedic Mathematics was also celebrated with full zeal & enthusiasm.
On this occasion, online poster making & online mehndi making competition on the theme of Mathematics for the Better World were organised. Students through their beautiful posters & attractive mehndi designs presented the applications of mathematics in our daily lives, while they also paid their tribute to Sh. Bharti Krishna Tirath. Principal Prof Dr Atima Sharma Dwivedi congratulated the students on their achievements.
Principal lauded the efforts of Mrs Veena Deepak, Head, PG Department of Mathematics, Mrs Anand Prabha & all the faculty members of PG Department of Mathematics for making the students learn the concepts of mathematics in a very simple & interactive manner.
