KMV celebrates Teachers’ Day; Students pay their gratitude to teachers
Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) organised a special program to celebrate Teachers’ Day. The celebration was organised by Department of Student Welfare.
Jalandhar, September 5, 2024: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) organised a special program to celebrate Teachers’ Day. The celebration was organised by Department of Student Welfare.
On this occasion, Principal Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi in her address as the Chief Guest congratulated all on Teachers' Day. She also paid her tributes to Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan & described the teacher as a beacon of honesty, dedication, high conduct & hard work who always work for the strong foundation of her students. She averred that teachers shape the future of our country by moulding the minds of our youth and on this day, we acknowledge their selfless dedication and celebrate their commitment to education. She also apprised the students in detail about the various activities being undertaken by Kanya Maha Vidyalaya for the holistic development of the students and its commitment for women empowerment. Apart from this, the students contributed immensely in making the event memorable by performing songs, group dance, solo dance, folk dance. In a heartfelt gesture, students also arranged a personalised tribute for their teachers by presenting them with handmade cards, flowers, and tokens of appreciation. Many teachers expressed their gratitude and were touched by the warmth shown by their students.
Principal lauded the efforts of Dr Madhumeet, Dean, Department of Student Welfare & all the members of the Student Council for the successful organisation of the event.
