Jalandhar, April 13, 2019: The stage was set on fire when young models from different colleges walked the ramp in an inter-college fashion show competition held at CT Group of Institutions, Maqsudan campus. The teams from various colleges namely SD College for Women, KMV College, Anand College Kapurthala, R-Destination and Sunrise International Institute participated in a fashion show based on indo-western theme. The overall trophy was bagged by KMV College with a cash prize of Rs. 21,000.

The teams were judged by a panel of six judges namely designers Punit Arora and Parul Verma, models Seep Taneja and Neeti Dhawan, celebrity makeup artist Saurav Kumar and fashionista Nancy Randhawa. They judged the teams on the basis of various parameters like choreography, looks, attire and walk etc. Best choreography award was bagged by team of R-Destination.

Besides competition, the key highlight also remained three rounds of traditional, kids and western wear, designed by the students of Department of Fashion Design, which were choreographed by Saurav Kumar and team. They were also being judged and best models and designers were given tags for the same.

Live performances were given by The Josh Band by Garry Chaudhary, singer Ginni Mahi and Nobby. They mesmerized audience with their numbers. The event was hosted by Neha Joshi, a renowned RJ and VJ. The show was sponsored by Tony & Guy Essensuals, Future Point, Oriflame, Cake House, Blooming Buds and SK makeup.

Present on the occasion were CT Group Co-Chairperson Parminder Kaur Channi, Managing Director Manbir Singh, Vice Chairman Harpreet Singh, Tanika Singh, Seerat Singh and William Randhawa, Campus Directors Dr. Jasdeep Kaur Dhami and Dr. GS Kalra, CT Public School Principal Daljeet Rana, Cultural Officer Davinder Singh along with staff and students.

Manbir Singh, Managing Director congratulated the winning team and applauded the efforts of participating teams for showcasing their fashion skills. He further encouraged fashion design students for their beautiful designs made under their academic performance.
