Jalandhar, October 10, 2024: KMV Collegiate Sr. Sec. School organized an online National level Inter-School Caption Writing Contest named ‘Power of Pen’ in order to harness creative potential of students in English.
The competition was organized by Department of English and got an overwhelming participation of the students from different states of India namely Punjab, Chandigarh, Haryana and Delhi. KMV is a student-centric institution known for its perpetual efforts to tap the potentials of students and to showcase their abilities in creative domains. The students of KMV Collegiate Sr Sec School (Arts/Commerce/ Sciences) also participated with great enthusiasm. All the participants were given e-certificates of participation and the winners were awarded with Certificates of Excellence for their catchy captions.
Principal Prof. Dr. Atima Sharma Dwivedi lauded the efforts of Dr. Madhumeet, Head, PG Department of English and Vanila for organizing this online event successfully. She also encouraged the young learners to participate more in these kind of activities as such events create ample opportunities to enhance their language competencies.
