KMV commences new academic session 2021-22 with pious havan
Fully vaccinated students start attending the college
Jalandhar, September 2, 2021: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya commenced the auspicious academic session 2021-22 with pious Havan. Graced by the presence of Mr ChanderMohan, President, Arya Shiksha Mandal, Mrs Neerja ChanderMohan, Member, KMV Managing Committee, Mrs Sushma Chawla, Vice President, KMV Managing Committee, Mr Dhruv Mittal, Treasurer, KMV Managing Committee, Dr Satpal Gupta, Member, KMV Managing Committee, Principal Prof. (Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi and pious attendance by the faculty and students, the annual feature took a new look. All invocations sought the benedictions of the Almighty, omnipotent and omnipresent. Together all prayed not only for a fruitful prosperous academic session ahead but also for world prosperity, health & peace through the spread of the light of knowledge. At the culmination of the Havan, addressing the gathering Mr ChanderMohan averred that it is very important that we should reach out to each and every student so that no student should be left behind due to the scarcity of the resources especially in this pandemic time. He also emphasized on the need to revamp the traditional educational system & this task is being accomplished by KMV in the most suitable manner by providing them world class education.
Principal Prof. Dr. Atima Sharma Dwivedi welcomed the new students to KMV. She averred that during the pandemic time, teachers have performed exceedingly well & have made their utmost efforts to reach out to the students for their studies. She further maintained that KMV is day by day scaling new heights by its progressive & quality education. She also apprised everyone that the students who have been vaccinated have started attending the college. She also shed light upon the advantages of autonomy under which the syllabi of all the programs have been upgraded to meet the requirements of 21st century & KMV is now considered to be a role model for the other institutions.
Principal lauded the efforts of Dr Madhumeet, Head, PG Department of English, Dr Neeraj Sharma and PG Department of Music for melodious recitation of holy hymns.
