KMV conducts FDP on online teaching and learning
The FDP has received the participation of many faculty members from the college itself
Jalandhar: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya is conducting Faculty Development Program on Online Teaching & Learning for the college faculty. The classes are conducted by the PG Department of Computer Science & Applications. The FDP has received the participation of many faculty members from the college itself. The classes were taken daily on Zoom platform in virtual meetings on Online Teaching & Learning. The FDP has received an overwhelming response from the faculty members as it is a very unique learning experience for all. The classes have been mainly organized in order to guide the teachers as to how they can optimally utilize various digital platforms for the teaching such as Zoom, Google Meet &WebEx Meet etc. The classes also demonstrated the functioning of Learning Management System (LMS) of KMV in which teachers & students are facilitated for online teaching & learning. Various concepts like how to prepare online quiz, prepare PowerPoint presentation & how to share online content with the students were explained during this FDP.
Principal Prof. (Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi averred that the PG Department of Computer Science& Applications has taken the initiative of conducting the FDP for the up-gradation of the teachers. This is the need of the hour as it is very important to stay update with digital platform during these days as all over the world the trend of online education is on a sharp rise.
