KMV contributes Rs.4 Lacs to Prime Minister Relief Fund

Jalandhar, December 2, 2014: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar’s fraternity has taken the initiative of contributing Rs.4 lakh to the Prime Minister Relief Fund, with the noble intent for providing service and solace to the victims of flood fury at Jammu and Kashmir.  
Prof Atima Sharma averred that humanitarianism, philanthropy & social service are the values keenly followed & nurtured by all at Kanya Maha Vidyalaya.  KMVites are well-versed in the lessons of empathy and compassion.  This particular initiative is also the outcome of the value based education provided at KMV.  The generously for their brethren the suffering humanity.  Some students who were the members of student council went to the extent of motivating their friends by addressing them in the class-room, college ground and the canteen and this also played a vital role to inspire the students, all the more.
