KMV disburses seed money to faculty and students to undertake 5 research projects
A remarkable initiative to promote research
Jalandhar: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya has always been committed to develop intellectual base through quality research of both faculty and students. In another initiative to promote research among its faculty and students, seed money of Rs.20000 each was sanctioned out of college funds to the faculty and students of five different departments. The faculty who are awarded with the research projects are Dr Davinder Singh from Department of Physical Education, Dr. Surbhi Sharma and Dr. Neetu Chopra from Department of Physics, Dr. Nalini Singh Chauhan and Dr. Mandeep Kaur from Department of Zoology, Dr.Prabha & Dr. Archana Saini from Department of Zoology, and Dr. Gurpreet Kaur Grewal (Department of Biotechnology) and Ms. Deepika Vashistha from Department of Botany.
Principal Prof. Dr Atima Sharma Dwivedi congratulated faculty and students who are awarded with research project. She averred that the involvement of faculty in these research activities will result in the enhancement of their knowledge and will also update them regarding their subject which will be of great benefit to the students. She further maintained that KMV have always supported research based activities for the academic growth of the students and from time to time, we have granted various seed money research projects to the faculty and students. Madam Principal lauded the efforts of Research Cell of KMV for this initiative.
