KMV donates free books to deserving students
The books have been donated by all the faculty members
Jalandhar: In an another philanthropic initiative, Kanya Maha Vidyalaya has donated free books to the deserving & needy students of the college. This initiative was done under the inspiration of Principal Prof Dr Atima Sharma Dwivedi. The books have been donated by all the faculty members from every department for the better education of the students. Especially the children who are the new entrants at undergraduate level have been provided with free books so that they can easily make their transition to the college. It is important to mention that every year KMV has a tradition of donating free books to the deserving students.
Principal Prof Dr Atima Sharma Dwivedi averred that we at KMV has come up with this idea as we know that not everyone has access to digital materials and e-books, therefore we wanted to make sure that students have access to reading material. She further maintained that education at KMV is very much important to us, and having access to books is essential for many students, so we wanted to make sure there is a way for the students to access books during this difficult time also.
