KMV kaushal kendra completes five successful years
Many students who got admission in these courses are well placed
Jalandhar: Under DDU Kaushal Kendra, Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (KMV) is running 7 B.Voc courses in the field of Animation, Retail Management, Photography & Journalism, Management & Secretarial Practices, Textile Design & Apparel Technology, Nutrition Exercise & Health, Beauty & Wellness and 3 M. Voc. courses in Animation & VFX, Retail Management and Textile Design & Apparel Technology. The objective of these courses is to impart practical knowledge among students so that they could meet the industry requirements and get good jobs in their relative fields. Many students who got admission in these courses are well placed in the last five years. KMV has also conducted fifth advisory meet in the campus in which expenditure and other activities conducted in the last year were discussed with representatives from Sector Skill Councils. Ms. Anu H. Gupta, Associate Professor in UIFT Punjab University, Chandigarh and one of the nominated member of advisory meet has inaugurated her book with the name of Phulkari- Embroidery in Transition on this occasion.
Principal Prof.(Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi averred that the Kaushal Kendra at KMV has always been imparting quality based skill education to its students and it is a matter of great pride that Kaushal Kendra at KMV has successfully completed five years. Madam Principal also lauded the efforts of Dr. Gopi Sharma, Director, Kaushal Kendra and faculty members for completing fruitful five years and also expressed her heart felt gratitude to the members of sector skill councils and university nominees.
