Jalandhar, February 24, 2025: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) proudly announces the grand opening of Baker’s Bliss, an exciting new initiative led by the talented students of the Department of Hospitality and Tourism. This student-run bakery is a testament to KMV’s commitment to experiential learning and skill development, empowering students with hands-on experience in the culinary and hospitality industry. 

The inauguration ceremony of Baker’s Bliss was graced by Principal Prof. (Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi, faculty members and enthusiastic students. The event marked a significant milestone for the institution, as students showcased their culinary expertise and entrepreneurial spirit through this initiative. Baker’s Bliss offers a delightful array of freshly baked goods, including artisanal bread, cakes, cookies, and a variety of savoury treats. Every item on the menu is crafted with precision, passion and the highest quality ingredients, ensuring a delectable experience for customers. 

Speaking on the occasion Principal Prof. (Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi expressed her pride in the students’ dedication and innovation. She averred that this bakery is not just a business venture but an educational experience that prepares our students for real-world challenges in the hospitality industry. Baker’s Bliss will serve as a training ground for aspiring chefs and entrepreneurs, giving them a platform to hone their skills and creativity. The students behind this initiative have been actively involved in every aspect of the bakery, from menu planning and ingredient selection to baking and customer service. This hands-on experience will equip them with essential skills in business management, teamwork, and customer relations, crucial for their future careers in hospitality and tourism. She further maintained that with its welcoming ambiance and delicious offerings, Baker’s Bliss promises to become a favourite destination for food lovers within and beyond the KMV campus. The bakery will not only serve as a hub for culinary excellence but will also inspire future batches of students to embrace entrepreneurship and innovation in the hospitality industry.
