KMV Lifts Overall Trophy; Beats 38 Schools & Colleges of the Region

Jalandhar, February 26, 2019: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar participated in The National Science Festival-Doaba Scifiesta-2019 and delivering a remarkable performance bagged overall trophy by beating 38 schools and colleges comprising of total 700 students. The students from all the science stream of the college participated in this Science Fest and made the KMV proud by their outstanding achievement. The students who bagged trophies in the various categories are Pahul Padam, Diviyanshi and Anchal as they stood 2nd in quiz, Lipakshi and Dilpreet bagged overall best poster trophy, Manjinder and Chesta bagged overall best Rangoli prize, Kirti bagged best Painting trophy, Gurdeep Kaur won Overall Best Scietoon Making Award, Tanya Handa bagged Best Scientific Food Preparation, Bharti and Gaganpreet Kaur bagged Best Innovative Model trophy, Nishita Kondal won Overall Best Scientific Speaking Award, Bhawna, Harmanpreet, Ankita, Anureet, Kamaljit,
Jai Kaur, Ruchika, Navpreet and Vaishnavi won Overall Best Scientific Dance and Rudhanshi, Bharti, Pahul, Babita, Smriti, Muskan, Jasneet, Sheetal, Himani and Disha were given Appreciation award for awareness creating scientific dance. Principal Prof. (Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi lauded the efforts of the Science faculty and congratulated all the prize winners. She further maintained that students at KMV are provided many facilities and all these exceptional facilities elicit such excellent outcomes as the glorious success in this National Science Festival. She wished all the achievers a very bright and brilliant future and also averred that KMV will continue to support them in all their upcoming ventures.
