KMV organises a 10 day Annual Training Camp of 2 Pb(G) BN NCC Jal
More than 450 cadets from 23 different institutions of Jalandhar participated
Jalandhar, October 22, 2021: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) organised a 10 day annual training camp of 2Pb (G) BN NCC Jal. More than 450 cadets from 23 different institutions will be trained in various subjects like Weapon Training, Map Reading, First Aid & Communication Skills etc. during this 10 day camp.
Principal Prof. Dr. Atima Sharma Dwivedi welcomed the cadets to the seat of women empowerment. Addressing the cadets, Prof. Dwivedi inspired them all to set high goals in life to become good citizens. She further maintained that it filled her heart with pride by witnessing the youthful energy and willingness of the young NCC cadets to go to the extra mile for their society and the nation. Prof. Dwivedi acquainted everyone about the rich and glorious history of this patriotic institution & the contribution that KMV has made in the freedom struggle of our motherland. She averred that this camp will play a pivotal role in shaping up the personality of the cadets as they will get all the required training to become a dedicated & sincere cadet. Col Narinder Toor Commanding Officer of the 2Pb (G) BN NCC Jal welcomed cadets and also exhorted them to complete the training with full participation so that they may be able to become a dedicated soldiers of their country in the future. It is pertinent to mention that this is the eligibility camp for BEE after which cadets will become qualified to appear for BEE and CEE certificate examination. Madam Principal lauded the efforts of Lt. Seema Arora, Ms Sufalica and the whole organising committee for successfully organising the camp.
