KMV organises educational trip to Ranjit Sagar Dam for students
Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) always makes consistent efforts to enhance the practical skills and knowledge of the students. In continuation with this practice, Post Graduate Department of Commerce and Business Administration organized an educational trip to Ranjit Sagar Dam, Pathankot.

Jalandhar, April 23, 2023: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) always makes consistent efforts to enhance the practical skills and knowledge of the students. In continuation with this practice, Post Graduate Department of Commerce and Business Administration organized an educational trip to Ranjit Sagar Dam, Pathankot.
The objective of the visit was to acquaint the students of B.Com, B.Com (Hons), B.B.A and M.Com with the operational aspect of electricity generation at Ranjit Sagar Dam, built across River Ravi.
Firstly, the students were apprised with the history and the internal functioning of Dam by Rajinder Bhagat, Senior Officer PSPCL, Hydel Project. Subsequently, they were given practical exposure through visit to different divisions of the hydel project where electricity was being generated. Students found this visit very informative and interesting.
Principal Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi lauded the efforts of Dr Neeraj Maini for having organised such a fruitful visit which will enhance the knowledge of the students.
