KMV organises Educational Visit to Pukhraj Organics for students 

Jalandhar, October 13, 2024: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) organised an ‘Educational visit’ to Pukhraj Organics. The trip was organized by P.G. Department of Botany under Curie Grant in coordination with KMV’s Institution’s Innovation Council. 

During the trip, students visited pre incubation unit at Pukhraj Organic India Pvt. Ltd. where they learnt about different products of the industry and preparation methodologies of various herbal products like natural immunity booster, health, skin care, wellness care products, energy tonics and many other cosmetics from plant raw extracts. 

Deepanshu accompanied the students during the visit and provided a full tour of the industry. The students initially went to their research and development lab, which is well-equipped with instruments such as a pH meter, flame photometer, laminar air flow, BOD. They next proceeded to the main working area, which was equipped with cutting-edge technology utilized in the production of organic goods. Later on, students visited primary main unit includes accumulation of raw materials and aloe-vera (main ingredient of their products), contamination control chamber and ointment manufacturing plant after which he explained the operating concept, and procedure in making of organic products. The next unit was related to packaging equipped with automatic packing machines, sealing machine, heat sealer, capping machine and filling machine. 

Principal Prof. Dr. Atima Sharma Dwivedi appreciated the faculty members for organizing such knowledge filled educational visit for the students which give them exposure to different techniques used in manufacturing of herbal formulations.
