KMV organises extension lecture on how to crack civil services exam in the first attempt
Jalandhar, October 18, 2021: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) has been endeavouring ceaselessly for the holistic development of the students. In keeping with its vision and mission to empower women to make them globally employable, various seminars, workshops, extension lectures and interactive sessions are organised on career counselling and career awareness. In this series, an extension lecture on the topic How to Crack Civil Services Exam in the first attempt was organised. The session was organised under the aegis of School for Competitive Exams. The resource person for the session was Dr. Madhur Mahajan, PG Dept. of Economics, GGDSD College, Chandigarh. Dr Madhur made very interesting revelations about the 7 Point Strategy for the preparation of the highly prestigious competitive exams of our country. He also cited the examples of various rank holders of UPSC who had cleared the exam inspite of all adverse circumstances and financial constraints. He motivated the students to Dream Big and to invest 100% of their time and efforts to convert their dreams into goals. After the end of the session, he also addressed all the queries of students in a very lucid manner and cleared all their doubts and apprehensions regarding these exams. It is pertinent to mention that the School for Competitive Exams has been running in the KMV very successfully since 2015.
Principal Prof. Dr. Atima Sharma Dwivedi averred that KMV has always inspired the students to remain focussed and steer their efforts in the right direction to achieve their coveted goals. She further maintained that the School for Competitive Exams has been functioning very successfully at KMV and is helping the students to excel in various fields.
