KMV organises fun filled and knowledge-based visit to Chandigarh for students
Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) organises various activities from time to time for the students, through which they can get broaden the scope of their knowledge.
Jalandhar: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) organises various activities from time to time for the students, through which they can get broaden the scope of their knowledge. In this series, a trip to Chandigarh was organized for the students by the Post Graduate Department of English. More than 50 students of postgraduate and undergraduate level participated in this trip with full zeal and enthusiasm.
During this visit, the students learned about the artefacts made by Nek Chand in the Rock Garden, as well as understood the different species of birds and their maintenance at the Bird Park Chandigarh & also visited the Sukhna Lake. Along with this, while paying obeisance at the Mansa Devi temple, the students together also went around the Elante Mall.
Principal Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi averred that such trips prove to be helpful in removing boredom from the busy routine of daily life and at the same time with a break students also get full energy as they return to their classes to pursue education with new interest.
