KMV organises National Level Competitions to commemorate World Rose Day
Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) organised creative and innovative national level competitions on World Rose Day under the aegis of CURIE grant.
Jalandhar, October 8, 2022: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) organised creative and innovative national level competitions on World Rose Day under the aegis of CURIE grant. The event was organised by PG Department of Chemistry. The event was organised in hybrid mode i.e. both offline and online mode.
During this event, entitled “Welfare of Cancer Patients”, more than 200 students across the country participated with full enthusiasm. Competitions such as card making and video message on cancer awareness were held. The students shared their beautiful and encouraging thoughts and gave profound messages on welfare of cancer patients to aware all that what should be our responsibility as society to deal with cancer patients and how one can make them happy and stress free. Students also prepared beautiful cards and video messages written with creative, innovative and encouraging quotes and dedicated them to all cancer patients. At the end, students with best card and video message were selected and rewarded for their creative ideas. In the category of video making (Junior level) Loveneesh, Nikhil and Amrit and Payal got first, second and third positions, respectively. For video making competition in Senior level Kritika Sharma and Mansi Malhotra bagged first position, Nitika and Geetanjali bagged second position and Preeti bagged third position. Likewise, in the category of Card making (Junior level) Rupinder, Hamjol and Pragati bagged first, second and third positions respectively. In senior level, Astha and Karjule Shraddha bagged first position, Anshika Dubey and Vishnupriya N. S. bagged second position and Sri Varshni and Barjinder Kaur bagged third position.
Principal Prof. (Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi congratulated all the students for participating with full zeal. She lauded the efforts of PG Department of Chemistry for successfully organizing this event and averred that such endeavors are a regular feature at KMV.
