KMV organises online DBT orientation workshop: Anubhooti
Principal lauded the efforts of Mrs. Neetu Chopra, Co-ordinator DBT Star College and other faculty members
Jalandhar: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya organised online DBT Orientation Program for the new entrants of science stream. During the program, the students were acquainted about the science education imparted to the students at KMV.
In this program students as well as faculty from other colleges also participated. Anubhooti - student mentoring workshop was organised on this occasion in order to motivate the students to explore their hidden talents & potential. Addressing the students, Principal Prof Dr Atima Sharma Dwivedi averred that KMV is the only women college in Punjab to receive Star College Status from the Government of India. Under this status, KMV organises various student oriented activities namely research projects, field studies, experimental studies, internships, educational trips, teacher-student mentoring & student student mentoring etc. She further maintained that the science departments of KMV are one of the best in the region comprising of world class infrastructure including state of the art labs, sophisticated equipments & moreover, the faculty of
KMV is also one of the most qualified having international research projects to their credit.
On this occasion, videos of senior students’ projects were also shown to the new students.
