KMV organises poster making competition to spread awareness on mental health
Principal Prof Dr Atima Sharma Dwivedi congratulated the students for participating in such a meaningful competition
Jalandhar: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya organised Poster Making Competition on the theme of Mental Health & Optimism. The competition was organised by the PG Department of Psychology under a series of events organised to celebrate the World Mental Health Day. During the competition, a plethora of posters were made by the students. Students through their artistic work conveyed the essence of maintaining a sound mental health by generating optimism in oneself, having a network of thoughtful relationships around and above all sharing to let go all the disturbing elements from one’s life.
Principal Prof Dr Atima Sharma Dwivedi congratulated the students for participating in such a meaningful competition. She averred that it is very important that students should be made aware about such issues so that they should remain mentally healthy and stable.
Principal lauded the efforts of Dr Radhika Gupta, Head, PG Department of Psychology for successfully organising the competition. Dr Madhumeet, Head, PG Department of English, Mr Yogeshwar Hans, Head, PG Department of Fine Arts were the judges for the event. The results of the competition were as follows:
1st Prize: Komalpreet (BA Sem III)
2nd Prize: Chetanjit & Khushboo (BA Sem III)
3rd Prize: Anmol (BA Sem I) & Riti (10+2 Arts)
