KMV organises various activities to commemorate Human Rights Day
Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous ) celebrated Human Rights Day. The celebrations were organised by Department of Political Science in collaboration with the Human Rights Department, Student Welfare Department, NSS Department and PG Department of English. In the events, including poster making and essay writing, students actively participated, raising awareness about human rights.

Jalandhar, December 10, 2024: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous ) celebrated Human Rights Day. The celebrations were organised by Department of Political Science in collaboration with the Human Rights Department, Student Welfare Department, NSS Department and PG Department of English. In the events, including poster making and essay writing, students actively participated, raising awareness about human rights.
Principal Prof. Dr. Atima Sharma Dwivedi during her address discussed human rights in detail, emphasising them as the fundamental basis of social development. She appealed to everyone to respect each other's rights, follow their duties with integrity, and adopt human rights in the true sense.
Principal lauded the efforts of Dr. Madhumeet, Dean, Student Welfare, Ashima Sahni, Head, Political Science Department & Dr. Iqbal Singh for successfully organising the celebrations.
