KMV organises webinar to celebrate world youth skills day

Jalandhar: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya organised a webinar for celebrating “World Youth Skills Day” under DDU Kaushal Kendra, approved by MHRD, Government of India. KMV is always on the forefront to make our youth skill oriented and transform them into successful entrepreneurs. So keeping in mind this great mission, KMV decided to organise an online webinar on skill related programmes. The program commenced with the recital of Gayatri Mantra. 
In her inaugural address, Principal Prof Dr. Atima Sharma Dwivedi averred that today is the era of skill knowledge and it is very imperative that today’s students should be skilful so that they should be able to succeed in this highly competitive world. She further maintained that in KMV a great amount of focus is given on the skill education as we have various B.Voc & M.Voc programs running in KMV granted under Skill Development Centre, Government of India. Various luminaries such as Mr Mohit Soni, CEO, Media & Entertainment Skill Council, Ms Nika Gupta, Vice President, Operations Head, RASCI, Mr Rajat Bhatnagar, State Engagement Officer NSDC ( Punjab & Haryana), Dr Roopak Vishisth, Apparels & Home Furnishing Sector Skill Council graced the occasion and also provided their valuable insights on skill development. All these speakers were highly appreciative of the contribution made by KMV in the field of Skill Development. On this occasion video on the introduction of Kaushal Kendra of KMV, Video of Fashion Show of KMV & Video messages of KMV’s alumni were presented. 
Principal  Prof. (Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi lauded  the efforts of Director Kaushal Kendra, Dr. Gopi Sharma and also gave good wishes to all the concerned faculty members for organising such kind of webinar which will prove beneficial for the youth of the Nation.
