KMV organizes online Teachers’ day celebration
Teachers are backbone of any country: Principal Prof Dr Atima Sharma Dwivedi
Jalandhar: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya celebrated online Teachers’ Day with full zeal and enthusiasm. The Principal of KMV Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi paid tribute to the First Vice President and Second President of India Dr Sarvpalli Radha Krishnan and the founding father of KMV Sh.Lala Dev Raj.
The celebration was organized by the Student Council of KMV under the aegis of Department of Student Welfare. Addressing the teachers & students on the occasion, Prof Atima Sharma Dwivedi averred that the symbiotic relation between teachers and students is from ages ago and is a part of KMV. Talking about teachers she averred that they are the backbone of any country. They play a pivotal role in development of character and incarnating responsible citizen. They are responsible for the formation of a successful student's future. Teachers also strive their best to inculcate the significance of true education in our life. They are our source of motivation and perfect mentor for our life. She especially extended her thanks to all the teachers of KMV, as it is only because of their constant support & co-operation, KMV is attaining new heights day by day. On this occasion, students from various departments presented different culture items like Bhangra, Giddha, Group Dance, Solo Songs etc and also extended their gratitude towards their teachers with the help of emotional messages.
Principal lauded the efforts of Dr Madhumeet, Dean, Department of Student Welfare, Dr Pardeep Arora and the student members of Student Council for successfully organizing the celebrations.
