KMV Organizes Spring Flower Show -2019; More than 50 Varieties of Flower Plants Exhibited

Jalandhar, April 17, 2019: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya- the heritage & Autonomous institution, Jalandhar's Botany Department organized Spring Flower Show- 2019. The plants were arranged in four categories namely flowering plants, foliage plants, succulents and bonsai. The students of the department participated and displayed the plants in the above mentioned categories. There were various eye catching and beautiful flowers namely petunia, carnation, gerbera, verbena, ranunculus and other. It is important to mention that there were around more than 50 varieties of different flowering and foliage plants. Principal Prof.(Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi lauded the efforts of Botany department for this beautiful initiative. She averred that it is very important that the young generation should understand the importance of environment & should contribute positively to the conservation of the environment. She further maintained that KMV always from time to time take various environment conservation steps in order to motivate the people to make this planet more clean & green. KMV campus is very clean & green and it also displays a harmonious symphony of peaceful coexistence. KMV proudly can claim to house a wide variety of flora and fauna including trees which are of 100 plus years and also the national bird like peacock are found frolicking here.
