KMV organizes ten days free online course on basics of photography

Jalandhar: In another initiative, Kanya Maha Vidyalaya’s PG Department of Journalism & Mass Communication organized ten days free online course on Basics of Photography under the umbrella of KMV KARES. The free online course has received the participation of more than 100 people of different age and profession from Pan India belonging to different parts of the country along with college and school students. The classes were taken on Zoom platform in virtual meetings. During the classes students were taught the basics of digital photography, basics of DSLR camera, various rules of composition & framing, various types of lenses and their uses in different situations & basics of photo editing. Every topic was explained with the help of suitable examples by the resource persons via screen sharing. The participants were very much appreciative of this exemplary course as they got a great platform for improving their photography skills which is the need of the hour in today’s competitive world.
Principal Prof. (Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi averred that the PG Department of Journalism & Mass Communication has taken the initiative of offering these services for the well being of the society. She congratulated the participants for having availed a lot from this valuable program. Madam Principal lauded the efforts of Dr Madhumeet, Dean, PG Department of Journalism & Mass Communication for successfully organizing this online course.
