Jalandhar: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya has added another feather in its highly embellished cap by mentoring other institutions regarding the functioning of DDU Kaushal Kendra. Principal Prof. (Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi has been invited as a Mentor & Guest of Honour for Orientation Programme at DDU Kaushal Kendra, Banaras Hindu University.
Addressing the gathering online, Prof. Dr. Atima Sharma Dwivedi maintained that KMV is the brand name of quality education and under Skill Development programs also it has proved its name and reputation. She said that skill development programs at KMV are bringing education at the global level. She averred that to plan the future new education strategies are required. Students of skill development make early choice in their career and they are able to excel in job market. She elaborated that at KMV skill development programs like B.Voc. & M.Voc. are becoming an example for many other institutions. The syllabi of all courses have been upgraded with 21st century skills in order to impart global standards to the students. With a commitment to meaningful futures KMV prepares the students for different skills with total 14 programs under the umbrella of DDU Kaushal Kendra. Moreover, KMV has also utilized the digital technology to its maximum for its various teaching & learning endeavors during the current lockdown situation. At this juncture, Principal KMV averred about the various industrial tie-ups of KMV & also with different Sector Skill Councils of Government of India. She also highlighted the various activities like Industry Academia Meet, Placement Drives, Workshops, Fashion Shows & Extension Lectures & Internship programs etc. of DDU Kaushal Kendra.
Principal concluded by saying that KMV- the Heritage & Autonomous institution is the topmost college in Punjab under Skill Development. She lauded the efforts of Dr Gopi Sharma, Director, DDU Kaushal Kendra, KMV for this achievement.
