KMV principal invited by Media and Entertainment Skills Council of India to share her experience as Head of Gurukul-KMV

Jalandhar: Prof. (Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi Principal, Kanya Maha Vidyalaya- the Heritage & Autonomous institution, Seat of Women Empowerment with Top National and State Rankings by India Today Survey of Best Colleges 2020 (various categories) was recently invited to share her experience of KMV being a Gurukul under Vidyadaan project of Media & Entertainment Skills Council(MESC) on the topic of Strengthening Guru Shishya Bond. MESC has organised 8 day long Virtual Vidyadaan Carnival in order to celebrate the completion of one year of MESC’s prestigious project titled Vidyadaan and on the inaugural session of this 8 day long carnival Principal Prof Dr Atima Sharma Dwivedi was invited as the leader of the esteemed Gurukul to share her experiences. It is pertinent to mention that Kanya Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar is the only Vidyadaan Gurukul invited by MESC from the region to share the experience on this platform.
Prof. Dr. Atima Sharma Dwivedi complimented MESC for the wonderful initiatives like Vidyadaan in empowering youth, developing skills and contributing to the cause of Nation Development. She averred that through these initiatives, the students are not only getting relevant skills but are also inspired to come forward to showcase their hidden talents and pursue their passion. She also cited achievements of our student of B.Voc.(Animation) Ms. Ramanpreet Kaur who was declared as winner of CreativeME contest under Vidyadaan’s Creative Warriors Program.
Principal also appreciated MESC for conducting various Webinars during the lockdown period which kept students engaged as well as motivated during lockdown. She reiterated that Kanya Maha Vidyalaya, resonates with the vision and mission of MESC and Vidyadaan & assured that KMV is committed to full cooperation with MESC for the ongoing projects as well as upcoming projects.
